There’s a new gang in town! Actually, none of us are that new to the live music scene of North Devon. Three of us (Nik – vocals, Keith – drums and Dave – Bass) have played together in The Alchemists. We’ve had a blast, but now it’s time for change. The Alchemists will continue with a revised line-up, and we truly wish them all the very best, and we are embarking on our own journey. So we’ve joined with Geoff, our guitarist, and like two cuttings taken from the same plant we will grow and develop our own identities.

We settled on the name Hatchet Jack because:

• We thought it sounded cool
• We loved the back story of the real life character of that name

We were thrilled when we were given permission by the artist Mike Carpenter to use his artwork of Jack for our band. We absolutely love what he’s done, and this now gives us the look we want for our identity.

Anyway, enough talk. Please take a look at out upcoming gigs, and come along and join us if you can. We’ll be having a great time, and hope you can join us in this.
